YOSEGIRI HOUSE
Inspired by the Japanese concept of Yosegiri - the bringing together of fragments, materials and original features have been preserved and repurposed in the renovation of this Victorian era home. A single felled tree was used to create the yakisugi (charred oak) cabinets. Fluted upper doors made of the same solid Oak are stained in a wood wash and the pantry is painted an olive green to separate and distinguish the spaces.
